Our Story

Owner Suzanne Graham graduated with a BA (Economics) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1987. Since 1990, Suzanne has worked for and provided accounting and bookkeeping services expertise to a diverse list of companies including Farming, Marine/Marina, Technology/I.T., Property Management, Manufacturing, Distribution and service-based businesses. With a solid accounting process background, Suzanne provides transactional processing expertise with an important focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Having had experience in a diverse set of Accounting based applications such as Spire Accounting, Sage 50 (formerly Simply Accounting), QuickBooks, BusinessVision, , Integrand, Mercspader, Sage 300 (Formerly Accpac), Spectra and Yardi, along with more standardized applications like Office (Excel), adapting to software is not a significant obstacle. Accounting practices all follow a fairly narrow functional definition, so moving to new applications is adopted quickly. The key; however, is not whether you can use the program. It is whether you know and understand cause and effect. Whether posting an entry will or will not cause future issues with the CRA, or for your CPA, is significantly more important. Therein lies the benefit of experience. Knowing how and why to process business transactions, along with a solid understanding of due dates and deadlines, is what will keep a business operating cleanly. Being able to sleep at night, for a business owner, without needing to question the voracity of their key financial intelligence, is not just desirable, it is an imperative.
